Sarah Garcia

Sarah joins as the executive board director of Child of the King because she is deeply committed to serving youth and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 113:9 

He gives the barren woman a home, making her a joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!

After 7 years of marriage, the Lord healed Sarah and her husband from infertility in 2019. Before the healing, the Lord comforted her through this verse.

Sarah believes in Child of the King Children Services' vision. She is dedicated to helping the organization achieve its goals of providing a secure and loving home for children and youth impacted by homelessness and trauma — helping them heal emotionally, grow spiritually, and thrive academically and personally. 

Outside of board service, Sarah enjoys teaching, gardening, playing the ukulele and flute, reading, hiking, and traveling. Sarah and her husband David have been married for 15 years and have 3 children together. She is also an active member of FWC Lakeland Church.
